Football Trip
August 30, 2009
Bradley and I were treated to a fanastic football weekend by my Sister-in-law and her family. She is a Manchester United fan along with her son George. When they were offered four tickets to a Man U game at Old Trafford with accommodationat the Marriott hotel she invited me and one of the boys. Bradley and I travelled to Manchester with my Sister-in-law on Saturday morning. After a long but unevently drive we booked into the hotel, had a spot of lunch then headed to the stadium. After an exciting match (which Manchester United won 2-1) it was back to the hotel. After a swim in the pool it was back to the room where room service delivered sandwiches. We travelled back today but I think Bradley has a tastes of the high life so it was back to earth with a bump.

Happy Birthday George
August 25, 2009
Last week George was 1 year old. Today I travelled up to Wisbech to try and get some shots of him. George is my dads step-grandson and it was lovely to see dad with his Wisbech family. We had a lovely time, took quite a few shots, some in the house then off to the garden to a few with Georges cars.
Here is a peek at just a few
Happy 1st Birthday George

Busy Weekend
August 23, 2009
Friday was my last day at work for 2 weeks and as we are not going on holiday I wanted to make sure we got a couple of trips to Camber Sands during my time off. Everyone bowed out at the last minute on Saturday so it ended up being just me and the two boys. Weather was lovely and spent all day on the beach. There was a church group which turned up and after singing a few hymns most of them went into the sea and then they baptised three of their group. Not something you see everyday on an English beach but different.

Then today my dad came down for a visit, I am sure I must already have a picture of David with his great-grandad but I know that everytime I have the two of them together the camera is going to have to come out.

Evie and Hanna
August 19, 2009
Today I had a visit from Evie and Hanna. Evie is 4 and loves Russian dolls and Polly pocket but was not too keen on my camera. Mind you we could blame nanny Christine as Evie was all ready for her trip on the river and didn’t really want to waste time having pictures taken. We managed a very brief session but I am hoping that we will be able set time for another session soon so that we can have a proper play

David
August 10, 2009
Our Grandson is growing so fast and he is so quick that it is getting increasingly difficult to get a shot of him. He smiles all the time lately and is about the only family member that doesn’t moan when the camera makes an appearance. Managed an ok one of David at the birthday BBQ on Saturday as he was sitting on his mums lap. I just love his eyes and that smile.

Maureens Birthday
August 8, 2009
Today was my Sister-in-laws birthday. Weather was great, loads of family to chat to. Kids running round. Altogether we had a lovely day. Stayed later than we planned but thats what happens when you are chatting to family, to flies.

This is Maureen the birthday girl

When there are no models about you just have to make do.

Been itching to get the camera out but work has been hectic and the weather has been pretty dismal. However this afternoon managed to leave work early and when I got in hubby said that there was parakeet’s in the garden. They had gone by the time I got the camera out but there was an obliging hover-fly. Well you have to use whatever models you can get.

At Last – I have a blog again
August 5, 2009
I somehow managed to kill my last blog – with the help of my webspace providers. So this is the new one. I will be tweaking it over the next few days but please bear with me. For now here are a few pics from my old blog just to fill some space.
