Woolwich Cat Rescue
August 20, 2010
We went down to Woolwich Skate Park again today and while we were there we saw a fire engine and a group of people on the Thames pathway. We wandered down to see what was happening and it turns out a cat had managed to fall into the Thames but had got onto a pontoon pile. It was very soggy and scared. The Fire brigade took an RSPCA officer on a lauch and managed to reach the cat and pull it to safety. They even got a round of applause from the onlookers. Well done boys and girls.
WOOLWICH WILDLIFE

On Friday while I was at the skate park with Bradley and Andrew the boys spotted a spider and hoverfly on the fence. Knowing what I am like they called me over and luckily I had my macro lense in the back. This is the ultimate takeaway dinner. Makes you glad your not an insect doesn’t it .

Candice and David met us at Oxleas Wood Cafe today for an open air breakfast. Unfortunately David was really not in the mood. He was a bit tired and grizzly. Breakfast was lovely but Candice and David left with any time for proper photos, which we had planned for afterwards. Never mind – gives us another excuse for going back to the cafe.
Blessings – Thanks Elaine

This is a figure my sister Elaine bought for me. She stands on my mantle and looks over the front room. I remember when I unpacked her and was suprised because she has no face. None of the Willow Tree figures do but she is beautiful and I am so glad Elaine gave her to me. Thanks Sis.

Been sorting out my external hard drive and came across a picture I took a while back. Its of Greenwich Naval museum with Canary Wharf in the background. Its a bit boring so thought I would have a play and make a mini planet. Hope you like it.
Sports Day
June 30, 2010
Yesterday was sports day for Andrews school. Every year they do the tunnel race, skipping, jockey race and finally running. Andrew has never been much of a skipper. but he didn’t come last so that was good. However running – wow did he move – can came in first. He was delighted and so were we – Well done Drew.

My grandson continues to amaze and delight me. He is chatting away now and can let you know exactly what he wants. He loves a dance and he is still in love with his dummy. His mum and the nursery are trying to gradually ween him off so decided that although I am looking forward to him not needing his dummy I would get a photograph that I can tease him with when hes older.
