I had the very great pleasure to be asked to take photographs at the Birthday celebrations of ‘ Coops’ and Jamie. Although Jamies first birthday was earlier in the year it was decided to postpone his celebrations till the summer which meant that father and son could enjoy a joint celebration.

The weather stayed fine and we enjoyed the grounds at Greenwoods Hotel in Stock. As well as a soft play area, face painter and balloon modeller there was a fantastic chocolate fountain which was a real favourite with kids and adults alike, but did lead to quite a few photogrpahs of kids with chocolatey faces and clothes.

Helen came a long to Cheryl Johnsons Bootcamp with her 5 week old baby to model for us. She was such a good girl and a very willing model.

WOW – what a weekend. This weekend I had the very great pleasure to assist Cheryl Johnson of Feelgoodphotos at Bootcamp again. It was fantastic to see some familiar faces and also to meet some new ones.  Venue this year was a little further north in Daventry. The venue was  Staverton Park where we all met up on Friday afteroon. After 3 long days. sessions with a baby, family, wedding couple, and Rambo Rick we all left on Sunday evening.  I thought it would be nice to share a little bit of what we got up to.

I was a very lucky girlie this weekend and received a pair of lights and a backdrop stand from a very special person – to whom I will always be very grateful – not just for these but for everything. (You know who you are and I am so glad that we became friends – THANK YOU).

Anyway being having a play – its quite a learning curve but grabbed anyone who wandered to close and had a play. I was so busy concentrating on getting the lighting right the posing went to pot. Still never mind lots of time to learn. Heres what I did today.

On 8th April 2010 Pauline and Dick celebrated being married to each other for 60 years by returning to All Saints Church, Kings Lynn, where they were originally married to renew their vows. I felt extremely privileged to photograph this very special event. Here is a little sneak peak of their day.

Fire!!!!

Its always fires – somehow they are always the ones local newspapers like to publish. There was a school fire in New Cross, South East London yesterday and I took a few shots from work. Today one is on the Greenwich News Shopper website. Always a buzz to see your credit.

Dick and Pauline got married in 8th April 1950. 60 years later friends and family all gathered to celebrate this marvellous milestone. Pauline and Dicks 3 daughters pulled out all the stops and Pauline was reduced to tears more than once (in a good way). There was even a card from the queen.
